Expected to be on hand this evening are three highly regarded younger writers from Spain: ANDRÉS BARBA, JAVIER MONTES and ALBERTO OLMOS. They are among the twenty-two writers age 35 and under—hailing, additionally, from Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Mexico and Colombia—who were selected for this collection much as Granta's previous celebrated issues of Best Younger British or American novelists were selected. Hosted and moderating this evening will be Bainbridge Island novelist David Guterson.
